How to get a free Schufa

You have the right to see the data Schufa Holding AG has about you. This is why you can request a free Schufa report. It looks different from the 30€ report but has the same information. This free Schufa report has all the information your landlord needs.

1. On this page, request a SCHUFA-Datenkopie.
2. Enter your information and submit the form. You can include scans of your passport and a Anmelndung/Meldebescheinigung (Registration certificate), but it's not required.

What is the difference between paid and free SHUFA?

1. Paid
   • You get it right away in your email. You’ll need to confirm your account with a German bank!
   • Data is organized and looks nicer instead of a free one.
2. Free
   • You need to wait for it for up to 1 week. If you’re not in a rush - it’s fine. But if you are looking for a place ASAP, it’s probably not the best idea.
